2019: Favourite Shows

This is purely my favorites and you'd probably have your list, share your list down below in the comments section. And that said we can now get down to the list.

First Up the Honorable Mentions:

With so many shows this year, there are a few shows which almost came up to be the best but fell a little short.

This is us: Overcame the dull second half of the third season so well but I just couldn't accept the fact that they had to go for a cheap midseason cliffhanger.

When they see us: A perfect casting and very good acting all around.

Silicon Valley: A perfect ending that made up for the last few seasons.

Catastrophe: This family dramedy came to close excitingly all the while making the internet go crazy with theories about the ending.

Kominsky Method: The dialogue exchanges between the lead characters are just as wittier as the first go.

The List :

11. Green Eggs and Ham :

Full of heart and laughter. All the while they made us laugh they also gave the viewers good insights. The voice acting is top-notch.

Season Rating: B+

Best Episode: Mouse, E07

10.Russian Doll :

Starting in a Groundhog Day fashion this show slowly evolved into a twisty romantic Groundhog Day series. I still feel this is overlooked in many of the award shows.

Best Episode: Ariadne, E08

09.Chernobyl :

So much brutal truth in telling us how much the cost of the lies is.

Season Rating: A-

Best Episode: The Happiness of All Mankind, E04

08.Mr. Robot :

In a year where we had so many disappointing finales, this two-hour finale is an absolute gem. Giving us what we need in a way that is unexpected is what Sam Esmail gave in this amazing final edition. And what I feared didn't come true, so I'm happy.

07.Good Place :

Another season another new setup but the result is always the same and it is forking awesome.

06.Watchmen :

Storytelling is at its best is when you give Damon Lindelof the full liberty. So what we got is an epic epilogue to one of the greatest stories told in the comic book pages.

Best Episode: A God Walks into Abar, E08

05. It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia :

To say, it still feels fresh even after so many years is an understatement to this beautifully written season and the series as a whole.

Best Episode: The Gang Solves Global Warming, E07

04. BoJack Horseman :

Even not a great season in standards of this show is one of the greatest shows of this year is what we to wait for each season.

Best Episode: A Quick One, While He's Away, E08

03. Fleabag :

With so much heart with so many gags and many more memorable quotes, this outing is just a pinnacle of the TV's golden era.

Season Rating: A+

Best Episode: Episode #2.1, E01

02. Succession :

Whether it is in DC, a cruise, Dundee or Hungary they made us laugh at the time when we are at the edge of the seats is where I think they improved over the last season. Mixing comedy with drama is a good recipe for liking these unlovable characters.

Best Episode: This Is Not for Tears, E10

01. Barry :

Breaking the shackles of repeating the same tropes, this season deals with much more important and relevant themes. Their poetic sense is also on the point.
