This gritty HBO remake is so stylish. Been waiting since Team Downey made the announcement. So I am pretty stoked going into the first season. First off I love Matthew Rhys so much and he is as brilliant as ever in the titular role here. They have perfectly set up the premise for this season in an elaborate season opener. The whole mystery is less covered the same as another great performer Tatiana Maslany. It surely is scoring big on the comic parts as well. I just hope that this gets better with every week. Fingers crossed. Fun fact this show has made a record of being the most-watched new show of HBO in the last three years.
