The second season of this German comedy arrived yesterday. Like the first one, it too was easy to binge with just six short episodes. They have started to expand the series in a very good way. The addition of Kira was good as that character didn't seem like a one-dimensional one. Yet I think Kira resembles Max(Stranger Things) a little bit much.
Beginning where they left-off they gradually moved the story in a predictable yet fun-filled ride. Character arcs and the relationships have started to build a lot better compared to the last season. Though Mortiz is still whiny we are starting to see the more emotional and fun side of him. Lenny, Dan, and Lisa too got good arcs this season.
The first four and a half episodes seemed small scale in terms of the story like the first season. And out of nowhere(we know the reasons yet), the final episode's scale was a little higher. Though it had some shortcomings this is still a jolly good outing for the Silicon Valley-esque and Ozark-ish gang.
