As HBO's social media caption said "Another smashing episode".
Their episodic approach is working wonders. A self-contained story each week having horror as the underlying element is not new. But the writers made this old setup good by making each episode unique. They also connect each episode wonderfully.
This is a weird show, no doubt.
They are slowly building arcs for each character every week. Slowly expanding the world. This episode mainly focusses on Jurnee Smollet's Letitia and she delivers.
Nothing new story-wise in this episode. Just a basic horror movie storyline. But the way it was told makes it fresh. Telling a horror story through the lens of racism offers something new.
Episode Rating: B+
