Amazon's fan favourite dark comedy has returned. And it's f***ing diabolical...
Continuing with where they left off the previous season Starlight is still trying to expose Vought, Homelander is playing a father, and the boys are starting to lose hope as they become the most wanted in the nation. Billy Butcher still wants to revenge Homelander. And yeah Hughie is in a deep state of sorrow, may be suicidal too.
They did spend a significant amount of time on the Deep's character and his relationship with some cult. Maeve is still Maeve. A-train wakes from the coma. The new recruit Stormfront is pure evil. She may become a problem for the seven and especially Homelander.
The Female's character too was given a good character arc in the first three episodes. I hope that character an improved character growth this season. The power struggle in Vought changes each episode and those conversations were all good.
Just like the last season this one too has many storylines. All these are gripping and fun. It was all possible because of good writing.
The whale scene might not be another dolphin scene yet it was very fun. Not a lot of cons till now. The only thing that is frustrating is the release schedule of the show. It sure has a perfect binge quality this season. But we have to wait a lot because of Amazon's new schedule.
They maintain to make fun of the current political and social climate all the while keeping it fun meter at 100 percent.
