It is an adventure week in Lovecraft Country...
Moving away from the episodic horrors we now get an adventurous episode this week. This Indiana Jones-esque episode is the weakest among all the episodes so far.
This episode kinda felt off from the get-go. It is mainly because of the fact that it had a predictable often used adventure troupe. The threats are never serious or edge of the seat kinda thing, which is worse for the adventure episodes when there is no humor to overcome it. Simply put the museum scenes were no fun.
It seems that the quick nature of these episodes may go wrong in many ways. It affects the show in a way that the emotional scenes are not carrying much weight. Even though it nagged me, I didn't bother until this episode.
That said the main story kinda developed interesting. The way they are moving to finish this season's arc seems good. The small moments like the mother and daughter in the planetarium were good too.
