So a lot of things happened over the last episodes but we are nowhere near the solution...
Recapping these two episodes... In the second episode, we were shown that Johnathan(Hugh Grant) might be the lead suspect who is still hiding. Grace was slowly climbing the wall of lies built by her husband. The important things that were uncovered are that he was fired from his work 3 months prior and his affair with Elena. At the start of the third episode, Johnathan has been held captive by the police and he couldn't hire a private lawyer. By the end, he is represented by a good public defender(at least to our eyes) and he even managed to seed doubts within Grace.
The second episode really captured me. It was well directed and the structure was neatly planned throughout. We could see the anguish in the eyes of Nicole Kidman, who suits the role perfectly. Though Sutherland's character has far little time he excelled in the areas he came.
At the end of the third episode, we got to know another secret regarding Grace. Though it seems a bit over-stretched it has the potential down the line... The mystery now seems as though it has been handled perfectly and oddly. And we are at the stage where the writers have the upper-hand with the unfolding of the mystery. Hoping that they hold it well enough in the second half as well.
Episode Rating: B+
