This week's episode welcomes home the new Pearsons. It was quite an emotional episode, comment below your thoughts on the episode. Now let's get into the review...
The plot is very simple. As Ellie and Maddinson are giving birth we get to see the other Pearson's waiting eagerly for the latest updates. The way they took it is quite good as they managed to wove two other heartwarming stories inside this one.
Randall and Beth are in the call with Maddinson to keep her company and to keep her in good mood. Kevin and Randall are ready to have their long due heart to heart conversation. not today as this day calls for a big celebration. Meanwhile Kate and Toby are expecting their baby girl as well. As only one is allowed with the birth mother, Toby have to sit out in the parking lot, where he meets a stranger and an "inspiring story". That is where he picks up his daughter's middle name as Rose. The past story involving the teen Pearsons does not have much impact on the main plot as it is there to just remind us that cabin is full of sweet memories. The whole other story is that of Nasir Ahmed and his ambition to create the compression algorithm.
The big plus points in this episode are those two stories which are external to the main plot. The first few minutes of the episode was just okish until we meet Toby and his new buddy. The story of Nazir and his wife was a good touch to this episode as well. It perfectly landed at one of the most important scenes. Uncle Nicky's very short cameo was good as well.
Special mention to the directing department as they really excelled by including two other inspiring stories within this setup. Editing was top-notch as well. The cuts to show the different family members was so organic and seemed real nice.
The one thing that really bothers me is whether Kevin an exemption to go through the safety precautions that Randall and Beth had before meeting Hai as he comes straight to the hospital from Airport and a movie production. What do you think about this?

A lot happened in the span of two days, Randall went to his birth mother house, Kevin saved a stranger and now we have three new Pearsons - Nicky, Franny and Haley
The new #Big3 share the same birthday, missing the fourth one though...
The next episode's trailer didn't quite convince me that we need a unnecessary block of having an episode dedicated to the OG Big3's first ride home. Hoping to see that the next episode is brilliant as this one.
