The new episode captures the four first ride home for the newborn Pearsons (or Damons) in different time-periods. This episode is directed by Jon Huertas. So did Jon brought Miguel's lovable nature to the episode, let us find out...
All four rides have their share of sweet moments. Cutting the scenes in such a way to show the similarities between them was nice. The editing team should be appreciated for their terrific work on the last two episodes. The best scene is when an imaginary Jack tells Kevin to have a family how he wishes for rather than trying to emulate Jack. Randall explaining to the newborn baby about his thoughts on expanding the family tree comes close second.
Ellie trying to get out of Hailey's life makes sense at the current moment as she might be under a lot of pressure. Toby's reaction to it was pretty good too. That storyline has more depth to explore in future episodes. So we can wait until then to see how it unwarps. Hoping that Ellie would be around Hailey a little more though. Toby losing his job has a lot of potential stories too.
Though Kevin and Maddinson's little ride didn't have such memorable moments, it had one of the most memorable proposals in the show.
Coming to the promos for this episode, which were so misleading as they showed the shots which were negative. While an episode has so much positivity around it, one might wonder why the promo had so many negative moments.
Episode Rating: B+
Little Things:
Toby losing his job might come as a surprise as he was shown as someone who is very hard and good at work. Maybe they will show us more about his professional life too.
How could anyone forget about the tease at the very end? So who do you think is in the white car?
