Another show in an already large pool of Superhero shows. So is it any different, is it worthwhile, let us check out in the review...
Straight off, I request one thing, don't read the description of the show anywhere. It will spoil the show in a huge way. Just give it a try, the first episode is just 45 mins. If you like it continue or else it is just an episode. what to lose there. But I can say that you won't be disappointed.
The reason is the ending of the first episode will hook you up and then the darkness of the show might pull you into it. It is not something new, you might have already seen this type of shows and movies way too many. But the execution, the point of view, and the talented voice cast make it a compelling show. The voice cast includes Steven Yeun, Sandra Oh, JK Simmons, Gillian Jacobs, Zazie Beetz, and Walton Goggins among many other supporting cast members.
The dark nature of the show is what makes it unique at this time. You can see the soils of The Boys, Sky High, and Harley Quinn in this show. Those comparisons are inevitable when a genre has this much content over the years. Like I said the dark nature keeps it fresh and makes it a good addition for Prime Video.
And yeah the show currently holds a coveted 100 percent Rotten Tomatoes.
