The second half of the fifth season returned last month. How did feel about these double and triple crosses, and what's your opinion on the story beats? Comment your thoughts. Now let's head into the breakdown.
The show starts where it left off in the limitless episode with the impending pandemic in the background. Taylor and Prince are forced to work with Chuck to bring down Bobby Axelrod. Did any of these teams win forms the crux of the five episodes?
The episodes leading to the finale were very well written and well executed as usual. The tension was maintained throughout the episodes and the changing loyalties made the twist and turn land.
I have some reservations against the finale though. They used the 'N' hours card one too many times. And the final twist is somewhat expected considering the fact that Corey Stroll is being promoted to the main cast for the sixth season (announced last October).
Negative point if any can be omitted just to see the amazing Omelet flip done by Paul Giamatti.
Season Rating: B+
Bottom Line: Another solid finish to the season albeit being a little expected.
